Class 3 & 4 Delivery Driver

About the role

UPS is hiring a Class 3 & 4 delivery driver in Singapore. The driver delivers and collects inbound and outbound shipments across the island, handles shipping documents and cash/cheque collections for COD/COP shipments, and supports the Sales Lead and other assigned tasks. The position is permanent and covers 5.5 working days.

Key responsibilities

• Daily delivery and collection of inbound and outbound shipments
• Perform on-road audits and submit shipping documents
• Turn in cash and cheques for all COD/COP shipments daily
• Identify service concerns and recommend solutions to the immediate supervisor
• Support the Sales Lead and other duties assigned from time to time

Required profile

• Class 3 driving licence is mandatory; Class 4 is an added advantage
• Familiarity with Singapore roads is preferred
• Able to lift and lower packages up to 35kg from rollers, conveyors and pallets to the vehicle
• Able to climb stairs to enter and exit customer premises
• Secondary education or equivalent preferred
• Basic English spoken and written to liaise with English-speaking customers
• Pleasant disposition and courteous with customers
• Unable to drive home the company van; willing to work extra hours when needed
