Client Partner - B2B Media & ABM

About the role

Dentsu is hiring a Client Partner in Singapore, acting as the senior accountable owner of strategic client partnerships. The role protects and grows the long-term value of the relationship, owning the client growth agenda, senior stakeholder relationships, commercial performance, retention and strategic direction. Working mainly with C-suite, ExCo and senior functional leaders, the Client Partner is a trusted business advisor rather than the day-to-day account lead.

Key responsibilities

• Lead priority client relationships and set the marketing, media and growth agenda, including resource allocation and utilisation
• Turn complex business and marketing challenges into strategic problems and actionable recommendations, covering B2B, media, ABM, demand generation and customer experience
• Manage Client Directors and their teams, draft SOWs for new scopes and advise on preferred partners
• Build trusted senior-level partnerships and act as a strategic advisor on media, customer experience and growth strategies
• Own revenue, margin, retention and organic growth, including annual and multi-year account plans, commercial targets, forecasts, budgets and financial governance
• Lead commercial finance management, including revenue forecasting, budget control and performance reporting
• Contribute to new business pitches, lead or present senior pitches and identify repeatable approaches and solutions for the wider B2B proposition

Required profile

• At least 4 years in a Client Partner or senior client leadership role managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships
• 14+ years of experience in account management or strategy in a media/integrated agency
• Proven track record of winning, growing and retaining large, strategic accounts
• Experience delivering commercial growth, including integrated and multi-market engagements
• Strong experience in matrixed and virtual organisations
• Values-led leader who models the Dentsu values and adapts leadership style across markets
