About the role

As a Clinical & Medical AI Expert at TELUS Digital, you will safeguard medical accuracy in AI systems that support diagnostics, pharmacology, and patient care. Working with a community of healthcare professionals, you will train and evaluate large language models to ensure they reason like board‑certified clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Audit AI chain‑of‑thought reasoning for clinical diagnostics against international protocols such as ICD‑11 and DSM‑5.
• Validate drug interaction, dosage, and contraindication outputs using peer‑reviewed literature.
• Label complex biomedical data sets, including imaging and genomic reports, to improve model visual‑spatial reasoning.
• Identify and mitigate medical hallucinations, creating safety guardrails for clinical deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, or Biomedical Sciences.
• Native‑level proficiency in your primary language and at least B1 English for technical work.
• Successful completion of a subject‑specific qualification exam and ID verification.
