Commercial Account Executive

About the role

Gong is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to expand its presence in the commercial market across Australia and Southeast Asia. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business growth across a high‑volume commercial territory, managing prospects from lead generation to closing.
• Prioritize and manage a broad book of prospects, quickly identifying decision‑makers and revenue opportunities to maintain a fast‑moving pipeline.
• Communicate Gong’s value proposition, generate excitement, and educate business leaders on Revenue Intelligence.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales Engineering to execute outbound strategies and uncover value.
• Maintain accurate weekly forecasts and consistently achieve quarterly quota.

Required profile

• 2+ years of closing experience in commercial sales with a track record of over‑achieving targets.
• Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience, including outbound prospecting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable selling to VPs, C‑suite and sales leaders.
• Self‑starter, high‑integrity, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Experience leading technical demos and managing the full customer lifecycle.
