Communication Manager APAC

About the role

A global MNC providing engineering, construction and maintenance services is looking for a Communication Manager APAC, based in its Singapore regional office. The role acts as a strategic advisor to the pole's management and cross-functional teams, planning, executing and overseeing internal and external communication projects in line with corporate communication strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Drive internal and external communication initiatives and adapt local strategies to stay consistent with global projects and brand positioning; support countries during rebranding.
• Lead digital and social media, optimising digital tools and platforms and keeping messaging timely, engaging and brand-compliant.
• Oversee the quarterly newsletter and manage several communication projects, coordinating with external service providers.
• Ensure presentations across the pole comply with group standards and visual identity guidelines.
• Set up crisis management processes, consolidate and execute key communication directives, and monitor and promote CSR initiatives.
• Liaise with country teams, help organise key events and campaigns such as innovation initiatives, graduate programs and onboarding, and coordinate with HR and other teams.

Required profile

• Master's degree (or equivalent) from a recognised top-tier institution, ideally in Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years' proven experience in communications, with a strong track record in project management and impactful messaging.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Comfortable working in a multi-country, international environment with sensitivity to cultural differences.

Required skills

• Highly proficient in digital communication channels, including social media platforms, online engagement strategies and influencer outreach.
• Strong writing ability with a clear, engaging style.
• Self-driven, highly organised and able to manage multiple projects independently with attention to detail.
