Communications Manager, Asia Pacific

About the role

Mastercard is looking for a Communications Manager to join its Asia Pacific Communications team, helping drive strategic communications across one of its most diverse and dynamic regions. Working closely with senior business and Communications leaders, the role turns complex priorities into clear, compelling B2B stories for internal and external audiences across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Drive communications priorities across Asia Pacific, bringing forward ideas and identifying opportunities to strengthen Mastercard's business and leadership stories.
• Partner with senior business and Communications leaders to translate complex topics into clear, relevant communication strategies and narratives.
• Develop and deliver high-quality B2B storytelling about Mastercard's products, technologies and business priorities for customers, partners and other key audiences.
• Create executive communications and leadership content, with strong judgement on messaging, positioning, tone and audience.
• Identify the right mix of earned, owned, social and internal channels to maximise the impact of priority stories.
• Lead communications initiatives from idea through execution, independently managing stakeholders, agencies and partners.
• Connect global, regional and market teams, bringing local activity together into stronger Asia Pacific narratives.

Required profile

• Strong background in corporate, B2B or integrated communications, with a track record across different audiences and channels.
• Proven success working with senior leaders, including executive communications, messaging and thought leadership.
• Proactive, ownership-driven, comfortable in complex matrixed environments and highly collaborative.

Required skills

• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines.
• Understanding of how earned, owned, social and internal channels fit different audiences and objectives.
