Compliance Analyst/Associate – Global Investment Research (Singapore)

About the role

The Global Investment Research (GIR) division is seeking a Compliance Analyst/Associate to support its regulatory and reputational risk framework across Asia Pacific. You will work closely with research analysts and senior management to ensure GIR operates within the evolving legal landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory and compliance oversight to the GIR business, including senior management, on regulatory and reputational matters.
• Develop, assess, and update policies and procedures, collaborating with Legal and GIR teams.
• Manage GIR’s responses to regulator information requests and stay current on regulatory developments.
• Design, deliver, and maintain training programs on compliance policies and procedures.
• Create and implement controls, surveillance mechanisms, and testing frameworks to monitor compliance risks.

Required profile

• Strong initiative, creativity, and drive with the ability to work closely with research analysts.
• Experience in legal, regulatory, compliance, or investigative roles, preferably within financial services.
• Ability to advise on rules and laws affecting research across multiple jurisdictions in Asia Pacific.
• Comfortable collaborating with global teams located in New York, Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, Bengaluru, Dallas, and London.
