About the role
AIG is looking for a Customer Care Consultant to join its multi‑channel Customer Care team. You will provide phone, email and digital support for a range of consumer and commercial insurance products, handling policy servicing, renewals, cancellations and new business enquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality voice and non‑voice customer service and sales for inbound transactions.
- Update and maintain accurate interaction records in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed contact‑centre KPIs, including quality score, handling time and call volume.
- Resolve customer problems, feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Promote and cross‑sell AIG products when appropriate to drive revenue.
- Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to improve service processes.
- Participate in ad‑hoc projects, training and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Resilient, resourceful and self‑motivated.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle overtime or additional duties during peak periods.
