Cybersecurity Manager – Contract (Singapore)

About the role

ST Engineering Mission Software & Services is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager on a direct contract basis to lead security governance for Singapore Government and Public Sector projects. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring that systems, applications, cloud environments and infrastructure meet stringent regulatory and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and continuously improve cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures and governance frameworks aligned with IM8, CSA Cybersecurity Code of Practice (CCOP), PDPA and agency‑specific requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and security obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage security accreditation activities, including Vulnerability Assessment/Penetration Testing (VA/PT), Security Assessment Reports and remediation.
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management and patch governance.
• Provide guidance to project stakeholders, government agencies, auditors and technology teams to strengthen the overall security posture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management and compliance within government or public‑sector environments.
• Strong understanding of Singapore security regulations and standards such as IM8, CCOP and PDPA.
• Ability to lead accreditation processes and drive remediation actions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with senior stakeholders and auditors.
