Deal Strategy & Execution Deal Manager

About the role

Splunk, a Cisco company, is looking for a Deal Manager in Singapore. The role structures and drafts sales transactions with a focus on transactional health and company guardrails, and supports sales in customer-facing negotiations. It suits someone who is confident in customer conversations and comfortable negotiating and presenting to customers and internal partners.

Key responsibilities

• Be an expert on Cisco and Splunk buying programs and metrics, and meet with teams to define deal structure, including its impact on ACV/ARR/iACV, internal treatment, best-fit solutions and program usage within guardrails.
• Help coordinate related parties, next steps, gaps and escalations.
• Manage custom agreements end to end, negotiate directly with customers, facilitate internal back-end partners, draft key business language and follow internal systems and processes.
• Provide sales training and enablement on deal structure, programs and pricing, and act as a trusted advisor to sales leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of strategic deal management experience supporting sales, with knowledge of programmatic company guardrails and close collaboration with internal resources in a fast-growing software company.
• Bachelor's degree required; experience in sales, financial planning and analysis or sales operations analysis preferred; MBA a plus.
• Ability to interface with and influence people at all levels of the organization, and to work flexibly outside standard hours.
