Deputy Manager - Data Analysis & Surveys (2-Year Contract)

About the role

The Deputy Manager (Data Analysis and Surveys) within Student Development & Recognition works with the three ITE Colleges and various headquarters divisions to support educational and career guidance for students, graduates and alumni, track graduate employment through Graduate Employment Surveys (GES) and build alumni relations. The role also covers the administration and coordination of Special Educational Needs (SEN) support for full-time students. The position reports to an Assistant Director and is offered as a 2-year contract.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SEN work: liaise with colleges to collect SEN, counselling and SEN Fund data for periodic reporting, compile the list of students declared SEN conditions and MOE health, provide administrative support to the SEN Workgroup, and prepare slides for the MOE Management Meeting with Polytechnic and ITE.
• Liaise with vendors for internship and employment support for SEN students and graduates.
• Support Student Services with data maintenance and data processing, and tabulate and visualise student, graduate and GES data to help improve graduate employment and employability.
• Lead ITE GES and digital projects, follow up on feedback, and submit GES datasets to government agencies such as MOE.
• Analyse and interpret student and graduate data for policy initiatives and service delivery.
• Handle payment systems and reconcile finance journals, review and refine processes, and support the department's digitalisation needs.
• Process and manage student records in the student administration system.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant work and industry experience in surveys and research methodology.
• Good organisational and event management skills.
• A flair for data and finance-related work.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and welcome challenges.

Required skills

• Strong IT knowledge and proficiency in digitalisation.
• Knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
