Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will act as the strategic financial leader for the property, shaping and executing financial strategies that support brand objectives and deliver strong returns on investment. This senior role partners with property and brand leadership to align financial planning with overall business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement property‑wide financial strategies, including profit improvement initiatives and new business opportunities.
• Prepare annual operating budgets, forecast sales versus expenses, and monitor actual performance against targets.
• Analyze variances in wages, sales and other key metrics to drive more efficient budgeting and cost‑saving measures.
• Maintain robust accounting and operational controls to safeguard assets and enhance profitability.
• Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive annual business plan aligned with corporate and brand strategy.
• Provide ongoing analytical support, producing accurate forecasts to enable rapid operational response.
• Lead, mentor and influence finance teams, promoting sound financial decision‑making and integrity.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with at least 3 years relevant experience, OR a master’s degree with at least 1 year experience.
• Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex data and identify actionable insights.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills to guide finance teams and influence senior stakeholders.
