About the role
The Director, Payments Strategy & Execution leads market-wide initiatives for Mastercard's Services team, driving strategy, analysis, and execution of strategic programs across the Asia Pacific region.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and originate market and regional opportunities, develop proposals, and quantify value for programs.
- Lead end‑to‑end execution and launch of strategic initiatives, collaborating with product, legal, finance, and customer success teams.
- Generate hypotheses, structure workstreams, and create analytical models to address market pain points.
Required profile
- Experience at a top‑tier management consulting firm, preferably in payments or retail banking.
- Proven track record of leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives and influencing senior leadership.
- MBA or relevant graduate degree.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel financial modeling.
- PowerPoint for creating executive‑ready narratives.
