Entry-Level Service Technician – HVAC

About the role

Join Johnson Controls as an entry‑level Service Technician and support the performance of smart, healthy and sustainable buildings. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to service, maintain and repair HVAC systems, ensuring optimal efficiency for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, servicing and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Overhaul, repair and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on HVAC units.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of newly installed or repaired systems.
• Maintain accurate service reports, equipment status logs and maintenance schedules.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing technical support and addressing inquiries.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards on all tasks.
• Identify upselling opportunities and support proposal preparation.

Required profile

• ITE/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an HVAC service technician (entry‑level candidates welcome).
• Self‑motivated, hardworking with a positive, hunter mindset.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence.
