Environment Consultant (Remediation)

About the role

AECOM is looking for an Environment Consultant (Remediation) in Singapore to join its environmental site assessment projects, working individually or as part of a team in line with client requirements, local regulations and international standards. The role covers field investigations, reporting and supporting project and proposal management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform field sampling of environmental media such as soil, water and air, and carry out site visits and inspections
• Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors on soil and groundwater investigation projects
• Write technical reports presenting assessment findings, analysis and recommendations, and prepare figures, illustrations and presentation slides
• Support environmental audits, due diligence reviews, job safety risk assessments and health and safety compliance audits where required
• Support the team manager with project and proposal management and administrative duties
• Follow quality, environmental and health and safety policies and report problems or suggestions to the immediate supervisor

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Planning or a related field
• Fresh graduates or early-career professionals with experience in environmental projects, especially site assessment, environmental, health and safety auditing and compliance reviews; candidates with strong experience may be considered for a senior appointment
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate field activities
• Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills, with a growth mindset and ability to work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
