Equipment Maintenance Engineer (12‑hour Shift, Loyang)

About the role

The role involves both corrective and preventive maintenance of plant machinery, ensuring reliable operation and monitoring critical spare parts. You will work on installations, modifications, and safety items for laboratory equipment in a 12‑hour shift environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out corrective maintenance on plant machines.
• Support preventive maintenance programmes and machine repairs.
• Attend to machine installations, modifications, safety items and laboratory equipment.
• Identify and implement improvement actions for machinery.
• Liaise with equipment agents for repairs and ongoing maintenance.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2‑3 years experience in maintenance or repair of machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and presentation abilities.
• Good knowledge of PLC programming.
• Self‑disciplined, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Effective communication with staff at all levels.
• Willingness to work a 12‑hour shift schedule.
• Based in the Loyang area.
