Executive, Operations (Exhibitions & Events)

About the role

Kingsmen is hiring a permanent Executive, Operations (Exhibitions & Events) for its Singapore headquarters. The role covers end-to-end coordination of exhibition and event projects, from preparing material lists and quotations to site supervision, client liaison and post-event teardown.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the BOQ (breakdown of quantity) listing all required materials, fittings and fixtures.
• Source and obtain quotations, negotiate terms and conditions and procure materials and fittings from suppliers.
• Apply for the necessary licenses, passes and permits.
• Conduct site recce when needed and support site and field operations.
• Submit concepts and costing to clients for approval and liaise with parties to arrange electrical, water and internet connections.
• Liaise with clients on artwork and coordinate with suppliers for printing.
• Coordinate with the sales team and suppliers on work specifications and client requirements.
• Monitor suppliers and sub-contractors against project schedules and check their fabrication work for quality and compliance.
• Handle on-site servicing, supervise suppliers and move-in arrangements, and prepare additional costing for Variation Orders.
• Raise purchase orders, close projects after the event, oversee teardown and clear items with suppliers.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Events Management, Construction Management or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant on-site operational experience.
• Experience in M&E works and knowledge of furniture, materials and finishes are advantages.
• Technical knowledge of conceptual design drawings and floor plans.
• Independent, self-motivated, proactive, able to multitask and work to tight schedules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
