Facilities Manager – Integrated Surf, Snow & Skate Venue

About the role

TRIFECTA by The Ride Side is seeking a Facilities Manager to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of its unique surf, snow and skate arenas as well as all common and back‑of‑house areas. This full‑time hybrid role combines on‑site oversight with planning and administrative work, supporting a high‑energy visitor experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain an asset register and preventive‑maintenance calendar for all three arenas and building systems.
• Schedule maintenance windows with business unit heads to protect peak revenue periods.
• Manage spares planning, downtime response and report arena uptime on a monthly basis.
• Oversee OEM relationships and specialist maintenance contracts, ensuring SLA compliance and cost control.
• Direct vendor selection processes in line with internal SOPs, avoiding auto‑renewals above thresholds.
• Own mechanical & electrical (M&E), water‑treatment (pool chemistry and filtration), HVAC and utilities management, driving cost optimisation.
• Handle renovation snags and rectification works to closure.
• Develop and enforce safety SOPs, incident logging, first‑aid readiness and evacuation procedures; maintain WSH compliance and all licences.
• Control the maintenance budget and minor CAPEX planning within delegated limits.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience in facilities or building operations management, preferably in a multi‑venue environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, budgets and safety compliance.
