Field Service Engineer (Customer Service Manager)

About the role

Veolia designs, supplies and operates water systems ranging from oil and gas to municipal water, microelectronics ultrapure water and heavy industrial wastewater treatment. The Field Service Engineer provides routine servicing for existing customers under their contract commitments, supports the Account Manager and helps customers improve treatment performance and costs.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing of existing customers: sampling and testing of water and/or process fluid, and submitting a technical service report with recommendations where needed.
• Maintain and service the online analytical equipment and the dosing equipment on site.
• Manage the on-site chemical inventory, place orders for replenishment and arrange delivery and top-ups.
• Review treatment trends to spot potential problems and propose proactive remedies.
• Support the Account Manager by providing data and preparing trends and charts for business reviews with customers.
• Troubleshoot treatment issues and engage customers to solve them, ensuring critical KPIs are met and adjusting the treatment programme if necessary.
• Help customers identify improvements and run projects that optimise treatment cost or generate savings.
• Occasionally support customers over weekends or on shifts for troubleshooting or treatment recovery.

Required profile

• Chemical, environmental or equivalent engineering degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Class 3 driving licence.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
