Finance Executive (Management Reporting & Budgeting)

About the role

Our client, a leading private education institution in Singapore, is looking for a Finance Executive to drive management reporting, budgeting and commission processing. The role will support financial analysis and ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process student recruitment commissions for local staff and overseas representatives.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, management reports and revenue analysis.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Produce revenue and expense variance analysis for management reporting.
• Support annual budgeting and budget consolidation.
• Prepare financial reports, audit schedules, tax submissions, annual returns and XBRL filings.
• Ensure compliance with EduTrust, audit, tax and statutory requirements.
• Assist internal and external audit activities.
• Perform other finance‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Experience in budgeting, financial analysis and management reporting.
• Basic accounting knowledge; full set of accounts experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Meticulous, self‑motivated and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak periods.
