Finance Manager – Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Singapore finance team. The role focuses on maintaining robust controls over the books of a MAS‑licensed entity that trades global equities, fixed income, derivatives and manages wealth portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day financial accounting and monthly closing for the trading legal entity, including trade interface review, balance reconciliation and data analysis.
• Support calculation and monitoring of daily risk‑based capital adequacy requirements for the MAS‑licensed entity.
• Prepare quarterly regulatory filings and ensure timely submission.
• Liaise with local, global and head‑office finance teams to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain streamlined controls and processes across group entities.
• Assist the legal‑entity controlling function: prepare statutory accounts, coordinate with external auditors, produce internal and external reports, and provide tax provisions.
• Participate in ad‑hoc finance projects, offering insights to meet evolving finance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field; CPA qualified or pursuing qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within financial institutions.
• Experience with Singapore regulatory capital adequacy calculations under a Capital Market or Banking licence.
• Product knowledge of cash equities, listed futures, options, swaps, fixed income and FX is advantageous.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Proven experience handling financial and statutory audits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using ERP/accounting systems, preferably SAP.
