Financial Accountant – Multi‑entity specialist

About the role

Process Engineering Specialists (PES) is seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions for its multi‑entity pharmaceutical consultancy. The role combines day‑to‑day finance operations with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end reporting responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate full sets of accounts for assigned entities, ensuring proper recording of all financial transactions.
• Process accounts payable, post client receipts, and manage related‑party, loan and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare monthly accounting schedules, perform balance‑sheet and P&L reconciliations, and support period‑end adjustments.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with SFRS, IFRS and other relevant standards, and produce management reports and variance analyses.
• Assist with quarterly GST/VAT filings, corporate income tax preparation, and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines.
• Support year‑end statutory audits, prepare audit schedules, and address auditor queries.
• Continuously review and improve accounting systems, workflows and processes for efficiency.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within multi‑entity structures.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, IFRS, IRAS and GST regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel skills.
