Financial Analyst (Accounting & FP&A)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to join the finance team of a multinational industrial group in Singapore. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will combine core manufacturing accounting with financial planning and analysis to support plant operations and regional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a commercial partner and financial advisor to plant operations, overseeing performance management and budget controls.
• Conduct cost variance analysis, identify cost‑optimization opportunities, and streamline product costing processes.
• Evaluate capital‑expenditure investments and support strategic decision‑making.
• Lead inventory governance, ensure accurate management reporting, and coordinate periodic operational reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with professional accreditation.
• Progressive finance experience in a costing role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical understanding of absorption costing, variance analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, bills of materials and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (General Ledger, Cost Management, Fixed Assets) with strong data extraction and analysis capabilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Applications, Oracle and Business Objects is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
