Financial Controller (Central area)

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the Central area finance function, ensuring compliance with SGX Catalist regulations, robust internal controls, and effective treasury management. Reporting to senior leadership, you will provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with SGX Catalist listing rules, IFRS/SFRS standards, and corporate governance requirements.
• Oversee preparation and filing of quarterly and annual financial reports, regulatory disclosures, and investor communications.
• Manage corporate tax planning, GST filings, and related regulatory submissions.
• Establish and monitor internal controls, risk management frameworks, and corporate policies; supervise internal and external audits.
• Lead cash‑flow planning, forecasting, liquidity management, and working‑capital optimisation.
• Oversee corporate financing, debt structuring, and banking relationships.
• Develop financial performance metrics, conduct variance analysis, and implement cost‑control measures.
• Drive financial systems automation and ERP enhancements to improve reporting accuracy.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and Board, supporting M&A, restructuring, and expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 + years of financial management experience.
• Proven experience with SGX Catalist compliance, sponsor interactions, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, IFRS/SFRS standards, and internal controls.

Required skills

• ERP/financial systems proficiency – SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI.
