Financial Services, Strategy and Transformation Director

About the role

At Anaplan, the Financial Services, Strategy and Transformation Director acts as a trusted subject‑matter expert and strategic leader within the Integrated Business Applications organization. Positioned at the Go‑to‑Market intersection of product management, enablement, sales, professional services, customer success and partners, the role blends deep financial‑services expertise with technical architecture, consultative selling and ecosystem enablement to drive demand generation, discovery, implementation and expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with GTM teams to integrate Financial Services applications into Anaplan’s motion, creating scalable knowledge‑sharing initiatives, sales programs, executive presentations, ROI insights and enablement assets.
• Distill deep Financial Services expertise into actionable sales tactics, deliver presentations and demos aligned with prospect requirements, and support complex sales opportunities as a technical and architectural expert.
• Provide feedback to Platform, Application and AI teams, capture field insights, and influence product roadmap priorities.
• Act as a thought leader for analyst, industry events and content creation, contributing market insights, whitepapers and high‑impact use cases.
• Collaborate with Competitive Intelligence to sharpen positioning, battlecards and win reports.

Required profile

• Demonstrable understanding of Anaplan’s platform and its application to complex business challenges.
• Deep knowledge of Financial Services planning, performance management, reporting solutions and key stakeholder decision‑making processes.
• Experience in consultative selling or strategic advisory roles within SaaS or enterprise software, guiding sales from discovery through implementation and expansion.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and knowledge‑sharing abilities, with a proven track record of compelling presentations and enablement program development.
• Results‑driven mindset, collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high‑quality, impactful deliverables.
