General Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

Zoff, a Japan‑born eyewear retailer, is expanding rapidly across Southeast Asia. We are looking for a General Manager to lead our Singapore business, drive sustainable growth and eventually take on broader regional responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full P&L for the Singapore operation, delivering sales growth, profitability and cost control.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and finance coordination with an external accounting firm.
• Develop and execute merchandising and marketing strategies that align with Japan HQ.
• Plan store expansion, including site selection, lease negotiations and partnership management.
• Build, coach and manage the local team across stores and the head office.
• Maintain effective communication with Japan HQ, using English and interpreter support as needed.

Required profile

• Proven retail management experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Experience overseeing 10+ stores and driving operational excellence.
• Strong background in budgeting, cost control and performance management.
• Ability to manage finance processes in partnership with external accountants.
• Track record of creating merchandising and marketing strategies.
• Negotiation experience with landlords/developers is a plus.
