About the role
The Geo HR Specialist supports the full employee lifecycle—from pre‑boarding to off‑boarding—ensuring a best‑in‑class experience for UPS talent across operational and non‑operational functions. This role acts as a trusted HR partner for internal stakeholders, handling talent acquisition, employee administration, and various ad‑hoc HR tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end talent acquisition for both operational and non‑operational positions, including requisition review, job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer issuance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR‑related queries from internal stakeholders.
- Administer employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, transfers, contract renewals, work‑pass renewals, and off‑boarding.
- Collect, process, and maintain employee documentation in line with record‑retention schedules.
- Support ad‑hoc HR projects and tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- Passionate about HR and people matters.
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 2‑5 years of experience in an HR shared‑services environment or as an HR generalist.
- Strong commitment to delivering friendly, accurate, and timely service.
- Good understanding of the Employment Act and related statutory regulations.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with Workday (advantageous).
