GL Finance Specialist (9 Months Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a GL Finance Specialist on a 9‑month contract to support the financial operations of our business processes and legal entities in Singapore. The role involves ensuring accurate accounting entries, timely month‑end close, and compliance with group policies and IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day financial operations of assigned business processes and legal entities.
• Prepare accurate accounting entries for month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closes.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure records comply with Group accounting policies and IFRS.
• Assist with statutory audits and maintain compliance with internal controls and SOX/ICFR requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to record financial transactions and meet reporting deadlines.
• Undertake ad‑hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial accounting, operational finance, audit or general ledger accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA Singapore, CPA Australia) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and balance‑sheet reconciliation.
• Understanding of internal controls, SOX/ICFR compliance.
