Global Internal Auditor – Internal Controls Specialist

About the role

Join Schneider Electric’s Internal Audit team as a Global Internal Auditor, focusing on internal controls across worldwide operations. You will help strengthen operational excellence and the company’s risk‑management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead internal control assessments and audit missions to evaluate control effectiveness and operational performance.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses through workshops and collaborate with operational teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and propose value‑added recommendations and best practices to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and validate the implementation of action plans, providing regular progress updates.
• Partner with senior management to assess and mitigate operational risks across the organization.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in internal controls, risk assessment and audit methodologies.
• Strong background in regulatory compliance and financial control documentation.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA or equivalent.
