Graphics Supplies Product Engineer

About the role

HP is hiring a Graphics Supplies Product Engineer in Singapore. The Product Engineer coordinates and leads the work of internal and outsourced development and manufacturing partners, supporting the worldwide manufacture of a product from new-product introduction through end of lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze defective product units or sub-assemblies and evaluate customer feedback and manufacturing, test and quality assurance results.
• Communicate product and process issue analysis to stakeholders and work with partners to recommend and implement changes that reduce defects, improve quality and lower costs.
• Represent the product engineering team on larger, more complex development and manufacturing projects.
• Mentor less experienced staff members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Typically 4-6 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design and manufacture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with mastery of English and the local language.

Required skills

• Use of engineering tools and software to test, design and evaluate products and manufacturing processes.
• Empirical analysis, modeling and testing to validate product designs and specifications.
