Head of Finance – Financial Institution

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Head of Finance for a fast‑growing financial‑institution firm in Singapore. Reporting to the Global Head of Finance and the Regional CEO, you will lead a lean finance team and drive strategic finance initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting, group consolidation, liquidity management and regulatory reporting (MAS).
• Prepare and present management reports, board decks and audit committee materials.
• Manage treasury activities, including multi‑currency transactions.
• Lead corporate tax and transfer‑pricing matters.
• Drive finance transformation and system implementation projects.
• Collaborate with the Global Head of Finance on strategic finance topics.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualification with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Minimum 18 years of finance experience, including a head‑of‑finance role at an exchange or clearing house.
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulations and reporting requirements.
• Extensive treasury experience covering multi‑currency issues.
• Corporate tax and transfer‑pricing expertise.
• Proven experience in finance transformation and start‑up finance environments.
• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, adaptable leadership style.
• Excellent presentation, communication and people‑management skills.

Required skills

• Oracle financial systems (experience preferred).
