Head of Inbound – Warehouse Operations Leader

About the role

The Head of Inbound will lead the inbound function of Satair's warehouse, ensuring that all incoming goods are received, inspected, and stored safely and accurately. This senior position oversees a team of receiving inspectors and drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Master and optimise the end‑to‑end inbound process, setting best‑in‑class standards for quality, accuracy and efficiency.
• Execute daily and weekly operational plans, translating warehouse targets into data‑driven production goals, staffing plans and workflow priorities.
• Set performance expectations, coach the team, and manage performance, including handling escalated issues.
• Own and report on all inbound KPIs, providing root‑cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Act as the primary liaison between inbound and adjacent departments such as inventory, outbound and shipping.
• Develop staffing plans, schedules and skill sets to meet operational forecasts and volume fluctuations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably in an inbound or receiving function.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret KPI data and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop talent, manage performance and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
