Head of Supply Chain & Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Supply Chain & Logistics to lead and optimise end‑to‑end supply chain operations within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This senior leader will drive procurement excellence, inventory optimisation, logistics management and distribution performance while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated demand, supply, production and inventory strategies to ensure product availability and operational continuity.
• Lead forecasting and planning processes, identifying and resolving supply‑demand imbalances.
• Oversee sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging components and critical services, managing global supplier relationships.
• Manage warehousing, transportation, import/export and distribution activities in line with Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
• Establish robust inventory management processes, monitor expiry and replenishment to support uninterrupted production.
• Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), GDP and local regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives and risk‑mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading supply chain functions in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, GDP and related regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage global sourcing, supplier performance and contract negotiations.
• Track record of developing scalable supply chain strategies supporting business growth.
