Healthcare Systems & Business Analyst – Temporary

About the role

Make an impact in healthcare technology by joining a transformation programme that bridges business needs, laboratory workflows and technology to support onboarding of systems and test reporting to the National Electronic Health Record (NEHR). You will work closely with users, vendors and project stakeholders to analyse processes, translate requirements into system solutions, coordinate testing and support implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing laboratory workflows and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Gather, document and translate business requirements into clear system requirements.
• Support the transformation and onboarding of laboratory systems and test reporting processes to NEHR.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect tracking and resolution.
• Monitor and manage system defects, ensuring timely documentation and resolution.
• Prepare and maintain business requirements, process flows, functional documentation and other project‑related materials.
• Support system implementation activities and ensure solutions align with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to healthcare digitalisation and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Biomedical Science, Business Analytics or related discipline (diploma holders with relevant experience may be considered).
• 2–5 years of experience in healthcare IT, business analysis, clinical systems, laboratory information systems (LIS) or healthcare operations.
• Hands‑on experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, system implementation, UAT coordination and defect management.
• Experience working with end users, vendors and multiple project stakeholders.
• Exposure to healthcare systems such as LIS, EMR, HIS or NEHR‑related projects.
• Strong analytical, documentation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of testing methodologies and issue management.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HL7, LOINC, SNOMED CT or other healthcare terminology mapping and interoperability standards.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
