Infrastructure Executive (Facilities and Project)

About the role

The Infrastructure Executive (Facilities and Project) will support the Internal Security Department (ISD) in operating, inspecting and maintaining new building facilities and mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems. The role combines project delivery, procurement and facilities management to ensure safe, reliable and sustainable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead testing, commissioning and hand‑over of new building facilities, collating defects and ensuring post‑construction documentation is complete.
• Prepare procurement documents, issue tenders, evaluate quotations and recommend contract awards for FM, building and M&E maintenance, upgrades and retro‑fits.
• Oversee daily operations, periodic inspections and preventive maintenance of building systems and infrastructure.
• Manage FM contractors and sub‑contractors to achieve performance and quality standards.
• Conduct audits, implement sustainability, automation and digitalisation measures, and track building asset inventory.
• Coordinate user requests, feedback and closure, while maintaining accurate records and contractual correspondence.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of facilities and project management experience in commercial, institutional, healthcare or hospitality settings.
• Familiarity with public‑sector procurement procedures and contract administration.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, detail‑oriented and able to multitask.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with tele‑conferencing tools such as MS Teams and Skype.
• Knowledge of SharePoint for document management.
• Competence in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM).
