Ink Process Engineer

About the role

HP is hiring an Ink Process Engineer in Singapore. The role provides technical leadership across the entire product lifecycle: designing advanced manufacturing solutions, creating capacity models and setting precise operational standards. It works with project teams, stakeholders and partners to align engineering deliverables with business goals, while driving continuous improvement, innovation and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Design complex manufacturing methods, sequences and assembly processes, and build capacity models, factory layouts and cost estimates.
• Create manufacturing strategy and tooling recommendations for new products, and develop operating procedures, safety protocols and equipment maintenance plans.
• Lead multiple cross-functional project teams through all development stages and govern the technical quality and compliance of engineering deliverables.
• Track manufacturing performance metrics, report results to management and evaluate designs to improve product quality and reduce failure risks.
• Manage relationships with internal teams and external partners, solve production defects and process issues, and integrate new manufacturing technologies.
• Mentor less-experienced staff, establish internal engineering policies and deliver professional reports supporting operational and strategic plans.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Material or Chemical Engineering.
• Typically 5-10 years of work experience, preferably in process engineering and manufacturing or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and results orientation.
