Intern - STPG Product System

About the role

Micron is hiring a System Product Engineering intern in its Department System Product Engineering in Singapore. The internship focuses on improving workflow efficiency, data analysis and information management across solid-state drive product development and manufacturing. It involves working with product engineers, data engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to study existing engineering processes and build practical digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse selected engineering workflows such as failure analysis, test validation, data collection, reporting or information retrieval.
• Develop data pipelines, scripts, dashboards or other digital solutions using Python, SQL, Power BI or similar tools.
• Organise and visualise engineering data so test results, product metrics and technical findings can be reviewed efficiently.
• Work with stakeholders to define requirements, validate the solution and gather feedback.
• Document the solution and present the approach, results and recommendations.
• Deliverables include a workflow assessment, a functional prototype or automation solution, validation results, technical documentation, user guidance and a final presentation.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence or a related field.
• Able to commit to a full-time 5-month internship.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to learn independently and work in cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Python programming and familiarity with data analysis concepts.
• SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar data analytics and visualization tools.
• Familiarity with software development practices, version control, machine learning or AI-enabled workflows is advantageous.
