About the role

Support the development of the commercial franchise of the Equity and Investment Solutions Business for BBVA in Asia, targeting private banks, retail banks, securities houses, family offices and asset managers in Hong Kong and Singapore. The role involves maintaining client relationships, onboarding new clients and executing transactions on structured products and OTC derivatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Assist in client onboarding processes.
• Execute client transactions on structured products and OTC derivatives in line with bank policies.
• Provide market colour, ideas and sales commentary to clients.
• Deliver feedback on client activities to internal stakeholders such as Trading and Sales Trading.
• Collaborate with support functions across the organization.
• Suggest ideas to improve cost efficiency, reduce operational risk and scale the activity.
• Monitor markets and competitors to identify trends and opportunities.
• Report on performance and potential issues to direct management and support them as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree.
• Minimum 1 year experience related to structured products and OTC derivatives.
