Junior Trade Finance Officer – 1 Year Contract (Up to SGD 4,200)

About the role

Join a leading bank in Singapore as a Junior Trade Finance Officer on a 1‑year contract. You will support end‑to‑end trade finance transactions for Singapore and Hong Kong, ensuring compliance and timely processing.

Key responsibilities

• Process Singapore and Hong Kong trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, guarantees, bonds, and risk participations.
• Perform KYC validation and AML checks on all trade finance activities.
• Input transactions, payments and SWIFT messages into the relevant systems.
• Handle customer correspondence, documentation, and filing.
• Support digitalisation, business continuity planning and other trade finance projects.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 3–5 years experience in import/export LC and bills processing.
• Strong knowledge of commodity LC, document checking and trade finance processing.
• Familiarity with UCP, ISBP, ISP, AML and sanctions requirements.
• Meticulous, able to work in a fast‑paced environment and available on Singapore public holidays.
