Legal Counsel – Investment & Corporate Advisory (Asset Management)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel / Associate to support high‑value investment, M&A and corporate advisory matters across Asia. The role offers exposure to cross‑border transactions, strategic commercial work and fast‑paced regulatory environments within a leading investment‑focused organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on investment, M&A, financing and corporate transactions throughout the region.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Support legal and regulatory matters related to investment structures, funds and financial services activities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on strategic business initiatives and expansion projects.
• Liaise with external counsel, regulators and internal compliance/risk teams as required.

Required profile

• Singapore‑qualified lawyer or common‑law qualification preferred.
• Approximately 3–8 years post‑qualification experience (PQE); flexibility for strong candidates.
• Background in private practice, financial institutions, investment platforms, regulators or in‑house legal teams.
• Experience in investment funds, asset management, banking & finance, M&A, corporate/commercial or regulatory advisory is advantageous.
• Strong drafting, stakeholder management and commercial advisory abilities.
• Regional exposure and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
