Intellectual Property Manager

About the role

MiRXES is seeking an Intellectual Property Manager to develop, protect, and maximize the value of its IP portfolio across molecular diagnostics, biomarkers, assay technologies, software, algorithms, and data‑enabled products. The role works closely with R&D, clinical, bioinformatics, regulatory, business development, and external counsel to translate innovation into strategic advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an IP strategy aligned with business and market goals.
• Build and maintain a portfolio of patents, trade secrets, and know‑how.
• Lead invention disclosure, evaluation, and patent filing with inventors and external counsel.
• Manage patent prosecution, documentation, deadlines, and office‑action responses.
• Conduct freedom‑to‑operate, patent landscape, and competitor analyses.
• Identify and mitigate IP risks throughout development, commercialization, and partnership phases.
• Support licensing, technology access, and IP‑related due diligence.
• Review and advise on IP terms in collaboration, research, service, confidentiality, and commercial agreements.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in intellectual property management, especially patent drafting and prosecution.
• Practical commercial judgment in a fast‑paced diagnostics and precision‑medicine environment.
• Ability to collaborate across R&D, regulatory, business development, and legal teams.
