Legal Counsel – ISDA & Investment Management

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join the in‑house legal team of a leading buy‑side investment management firm. The role offers exposure to sophisticated financial markets and involves supporting a broad investment platform in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft and manage derivatives documentation, including ISDA agreements, as well as fund‑related and general commercial contracts.
• Partner with investment, trading, operations and risk teams to provide timely legal advice.
• Support regulatory and commercial matters affecting the firm’s activities.
• Leverage AI and legal technology to improve legal processes and documentation standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows and best‑practice templates.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a legal or financial‑markets role.
• Exposure to commercial contracts; experience with derivatives documentation such as ISDA agreements is preferred.
• Strong interest in applying AI and legal tech to everyday work.
• Ambitious, detail‑oriented and able to work collaboratively within a dynamic investment management business.
