Legal Counsel – Public Sector

About the role

This position is with a Singapore public‑sector organisation that operates at the intersection of technology, regulatory policy and innovation. The Legal Counsel will provide expert advice on regulatory, policy and commercial matters across technology, telecommunications, media and data‑protection domains.

Key responsibilities

• Advise internal teams on regulatory, policy and commercial issues related to technology, telecom, media and data protection.
• Support the development of legislation and regulatory frameworks.
• Identify, assess and manage legal risks and disputes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on governance, enforcement and compliance matters.

Required profile

• Law degree and qualification to practise law in Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in private practice or in‑house roles within TMT, ICT or data‑protection sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in regulatory, corporate or litigation matters.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
