Legal Executive – Contract Management (Southeast Asia)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, detail‑oriented Legal Executive to support our Group’s legal function across Southeast Asia. Reporting to the Legal Manager, you will manage the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, maintain legal records, and assist with compliance initiatives while gaining exposure to cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal and administrative support for the Group’s operations in Southeast Asia.
• Manage contract lifecycles, including execution, filing, record‑keeping, and retention.
• Maintain contract repositories and track key obligations, milestones, and renewal dates.
• Prepare, review, and update standard agreements, templates, and precedents.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments, providing summaries or recommendations.
• Support development and improvement of legal policies, SOPs, governance frameworks, and compliance initiatives.
• Maintain legal trackers, document management systems, corporate records, and other databases.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel on documentation and contract administration.
• Perform other legal, compliance, and administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Formal legal education – Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law (or equivalent).
• Exposure to PRC/China laws is a plus.
• Experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department is advantageous, though fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) with ability to draft and review legal documents in both languages.
• Intellectually curious, commercially minded, and eager to develop an in‑house legal career.
