Legal Manager – Global Compliance & Operations

About the role

As the Legal Manager at AI Rudder, you will be the senior legal authority across our international markets, building and leading the legal function while handling active cases and ensuring compliance as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage all active legal cases, disputes and claims across global markets, including SEA and Latin America.
• Lead negotiations, manage external counsel and resolve contract disputes, employment matters and commercial claims.
• Review, draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts such as enterprise SaaS agreements, partnership, vendor and cross‑border employment contracts.
• Design and implement a global legal compliance framework covering data privacy (PDPA, LGPD, etc.), AI governance, employment law and cross‑border operations.
• Monitor evolving regulatory requirements, lead regulatory filings, licensing and government interactions.
• Develop internal policies, SOPs and legal playbooks; conduct compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Manage and develop the legal team across all jurisdictions, reporting directly to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior legal professional handling multi‑jurisdictional matters.
• Strong track record in commercial contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
• Deep knowledge of data‑privacy regulations (e.g., PDPA, LGPD) and AI‑related compliance.
• Ability to design and operationalise compliance frameworks in fast‑growing tech environments.
• Leadership experience managing legal teams across different regions.
