Logistics Specialist – Warehouse & Cold Chain Management

About the role

The Logistics Specialist – Warehouse & Cold Chain Management is responsible for overseeing general warehouse operations while ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods and equipment. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with safety, governance, and technology standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform loading, unloading, arranging, and cross‑docking of warehouse cargo.
• Conduct warehouse security operations and apply 5S (sort, set, shine, standardise, sustain) techniques.
• Manage deliveries, asset tracking, and transaction documentation.
• Support incident/crisis management and conduct basic risk assessments.
• Apply environmental protection and safety‑health (WSH) procedures, reporting incidents as required.
• Utilise SAP/Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other technology tools to report issues and improve processes.
• Handle dangerous goods and temperature‑sensitive cargo safely.
• Carry out container stuffing/unstuffing, transhipment and transloading operations.
• Identify operational shortfalls, maintenance or repair needs, and suggest improvements.
• Assist with cargo consolidation, shipment consolidation, and compliance with height, weight, and special handling requirements.

Required profile

• GCE N/O Levels or NITEC qualification.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations.
• Basic knowledge of SAP/Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Good team player, able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Forklift licence preferred.
