Maintenance Technician – Up to $3,000 + Bonus, Transport Provided

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery for a US‑based medical and healthcare packaging manufacturer. The position is based in Tuas, Singapore, with transport provided from the Jurong area.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure reliable operations.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks to minimise machine downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, carrying out repairs or component replacements as needed.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Assist with machine setup, installation, adjustment and related activities.
• Identify and report recurring or major technical issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports and documentation.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly used, maintained and stored, following safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum Nitec qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems with ability to perform routine troubleshooting and repairs.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safe use of maintenance tools.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings, equipment manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving approach and ability to work independently and with production teams.
