Mako Product Specialist Trainee

About the role

Stryker is recruiting a Mako Product Specialist Trainee in Singapore. The role is part of a 9-month intensive training programme that prepares you to enhance patient outcomes through its innovative products and solutions. It is an individual contributor position requiring independent work with minimal supervision after training, and it is open to fresh graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Provide case coverage as Mako Product Specialist (MPS) and stand by as Clinical Specialist for conventional joint replacement cases.
• Train surgeons and operating room staff and give clinical and technical support.
• Plan pre-operative CT scans and perform CT segmentation.
• Support operations such as case booking, documentation, reporting, billing and consignment counts.
• Support training and sales/marketing activities as needed.
• Submit prompt and accurate complaint reports in line with Stryker's quality system.
• Collaborate with the sales and clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Support on-call duty according to the team roster and collect case dates in Salesforce.com.
• Pass the Joint Replacement and MAKO examinations during probation.

Required profile

• Preferably at least 1 year of prior experience in sales and/or technical roles (medical, pharma or healthcare); fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Technical diploma or degree preferably in medical or engineering fields; currently matriculating undergraduates in biomedical science or biomedical engineering are welcome.
• Prior operating theatre experience is highly advantageous.
• Able to communicate in English, written and spoken.
• Good interpersonal skills, strong customer service focus and strong problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
• Ability to pass the Joint Replacement and MAKO examinations.
