Management Trainee – Hospitality Rotational Program

About the role

The 24‑month Management Trainee Programme at ibis Singapore on Bencoolen offers a structured rotational experience across core hotel departments. Trainees will develop operational expertise in Front Office, Food & Beverage, Reservations and Housekeeping, preparing them for future leadership positions within the hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest check‑ins, check‑outs, payments, inquiries and calls to ensure smooth Front Office operations.
• Support F&B supervisors with administrative tasks, greet and seat guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, clear tables and maintain service standards.
• Perform accurate data entry in the Reservations system, provide timely information to guests and staff, and coordinate with Front Office.
• Assist Housekeeping by attending meetings, coordinating uniform fittings, managing inventory, following security and emergency procedures, and supporting sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Willingness to work a 5‑day week with rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude with proven interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Opera PMS (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
