Manager – Financial Services Assurance (Banking & Capital Markets)

About the role

PwC is seeking an experienced manager to join its Financial Services Assurance practice, focusing on banking and capital markets clients. You will help deliver high‑quality statutory and regulatory audits while supporting the firm’s commitment to building trust and transparency.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage audit projects to meet objectives, timelines and budgets.
• Demonstrate risk‑management expertise and ensure delivery of high‑quality work.
• Direct and coach junior team members throughout engagements.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate client expectations into balanced deliverables and maintain strong client communication.
• Leverage firm expertise to address client needs and convert service opportunities into proposals.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualification.
• 6‑8 years of experience in a similar role at a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Experience conducting statutory and regulatory audits for banking and capital‑markets clients.
• Strong understanding of commercial issues affecting the financial services sector.
• Excellent project‑management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
